7 mildly interesting facts about Wilder ...
Wilder was formed in 2004 by Producer Richard Batty & Director Paul Gowers. Our first client was the London 2012 Olympic Bid Team, with whom we worked for two years to help bring the Olympics to London. It was a good start.
We took our name from Billy Wilder, the brilliant director of films such as Some Like it Hot and The Apartment.
If we could invite all the people we’ve worked with to our Christmas party, sitting around the table wearing paper hats would be David Beckham, Kylie Minogue, Prince William, Sir Elton John, Sir Bobby Charlton, Tony Blair, David Cameron, Didier Drogba, Ronaldinho, Bryan Habana and Lord Coe.

Our films have featured a dead dog, a dead hamster, a dead chicken, a naked rambler and a foul-mouthed dad. Sometimes we’ll go the extra mile to get a laugh.
Since 2004 we’ve filmed in more than 20 countries all over the world for budgets in excess of a million pounds to less than £10,000. We like to think we’re pretty flexible and diverse in our approach to film making.
We’re proud to have won more than 40 International awards including the IVCA Grand Prix, the New York Festivals Grand Award and Best Comedy at the Los Angeles Short Film Festival.
